Edmunds International Acro Gymnastics Competition.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p class=&quot;\western\&quot;&gt;Bromley Valley was
invited to compete at the prestigious King Edmund International Acro
Gymnastics Competition. Clubs are selected on the basis recent
performance and ability to attend the event and Bromley Valley was
delighted to chosen.  Also at the event was a team from Russia.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p class=&quot;\western\&quot;&gt;Bromley Valley competed
in a range of grades and FIG disciplines and sent a team of
approximately 30 gymnastics to the Bristol based competition. One
parent commented &amp;ldquo; There was a great atmosphere at the competition,
with us all cheering our club gymnasts on&amp;rdquo;.  There was great
excitement when Bromley Valley  jointly won first in the Team
competition.  The club also won gold in the senior pairs, silver in
the grade three groups and third in the grade one groups , grade
three groups and  junior pairs.

MacDuff reflected on the team&amp;rsquo;s win &amp;ldquo;Bromley Valley is a large

which recognises the hard work of the gymnasts and coaches&amp;rdquo;.

its annual recreational gymnastics competition which was attended by
over 170 gymnasts in four age categories.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p class=&quot;\western\&quot;&gt;Each age competition
was tightly fought with high standards for both the overall scores
and individual apparatus scores.  At one point there were 67 gymnasts
competing at three levels of difficulty and across six different
apparatus.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p class=&quot;\western\&quot;&gt;Coach Sarah Welch, who
organised the event commented &amp;ldquo; the Bromley Valley Competition is
well attended by our talented gymnasts.  We also rely on the support
of our judges, older gymnasts, scorers and our parent helpers and

Bromley Valley are positioned well entering the next stage of the competition which will take place on&amp;nbsp;May &lt;br /&gt;23rd. &lt;br /&gt;</description>

<title>World Tumbling Championships 2009</title>

<description>Bromley Valley gymnast Jack Doyle represented Ireland in the 2009 World Tumbling Championships in the 13 - 14 years old catergory. He performed whips through to double back with full twist for the first run and for the second, whips through to double pike back. This was Jack\'s first appearance at a world championships;&amp;nbsp;he coped well and&amp;nbsp;enjoyed the experience. Jack is hoping to be selected for the European championships in 2010.&lt;br /&gt;</description>

<title>Bromley Valley’s Jets Display Team chosen to represent the Continent of Europe</title>

was formed over 20 years ago and has built up a reputation for
dazzling displays which rival any West End show.  Sarah Welch, who
choreographs the routines, uses her own dance background, to create
the breathtaking displays which include amazing gymnastics and
fantastic dance.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class=&quot;\western\&quot;&gt;In June 2009, the Jets
have been invited to represent the Europe in Denmark* and Norway,
where they will put on 3 shows.  One of Jet&amp;rsquo;s gymnasts commented
&amp;ldquo;we are honoured to represent Europe at this event and look forward
to seeing the other teams from across the world.&amp;rdquo;&lt;/p&gt;

<title>Bromley Valley Acrobats leap for glory</title>

Bromley Valley gymnasts
competing at an extremely
high level, with successful results both at International and
National Competitions.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p class=&quot;\western\&quot;&gt;The club represented
The London Region and England at the 3rd International
Acrobatics Competition in Samokov Bulgaria. Other Bromley Valley
Gymnasts, meanwhile, have been busy competing at the UK National
Acrobatics and Tumbling Finals, at Fenton Manor, Stoke on Trent.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p class=&quot;\western\&quot;&gt;The Bulgarian
competition showcased gymnasts from across the world.  Bromley Valley
sent two Mixed Pairs and one Women&amp;rsquo;s Trio to the competition. 
Sarah Williams and Leon Fagbemi made their debut at Senior level, the
other pair competing  11 to 16 Age Groups, whilst the Women&amp;rsquo;s Trio,
Ciara Conway, Jessica Nicol-Smith and Sophie Jones competed Juniors. 
&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p class=&quot;\western\&quot;&gt;All the gymnasts
performed well; In particular our Age Group Mixed Pair Dominic Smith
and Becky Neal, also representing England at the event, performed
with breathtaking grace and near perfect execution. The Pair brought
home two silver and a bronze medal, only tenths of a mark away from
Gold. Their Coach Sarah Welch commented &amp;ldquo;Becky and Dominic have
worked very hard for several years and their perseverance and
dedication really shows.  I am very proud of them.&amp;rdquo; 
&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p class=&quot;\western\&quot;&gt;Ventsei Genov who led
the team at the event said he was delighted to see so many Bromley
Valley gymnasts in Bulgaria who  all were a credit to the club.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p class=&quot;\western\&quot;&gt;In the same weekend
Andy MacDuff was at the UK National finals coaching the teams who had
earned a place after winning their category at a London Regional &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p class=&quot;\western\&quot;&gt;Competition in March. 
Bromley Valley had a National Grade 3 Women&amp;rsquo;s Pair, Tory
Nicol-Smith and Amber Hawkins and a Grade 1 Men&amp;rsquo;s Pair  David Scott
and Isaac Butler. This event is always a highlight of the Acrobatic
Gymnastics Calendar and features such a high calibre of gymnastic
skill and ability.
